Another Pure Kustom Thread

Both a friend of mine and I picked up a "Black Ops Pro" holster from Rocky and his "Movie Star" associate (see the guy in movie clip about the Black Ops Pro holster concealing a Desert Eagle) at the last Crossroads of the West gun show here in Phoenix.

Breaking in this holster was the only issue I had with it. I had to wrap my 5" 1911 "Kimmie" in a plastic and let it sit over night just to loosen the leather up a little. A lot of practice drawing later I have a very, very comfortable, very concealable, very secure holster.

I didn't really have the money to buy this holster, but, I went ahead anyway and splurged. Mostly based upon the recommends from this forum. Thanks to all. I'm very happy with the choice I made.

It was very nice to meet with Rocky and "Movie Star" (forgot your name, sorry. We did joke about his video clip and how it made him a famous). Both were very nice, very good folks to deal with. To tell how nice Rocky is, he even took a check from my friend which was something he said he'd never had done before. Good people!!!

All in all, I would highly recommend a "Pure Custom" holster to anyone wanting some great leather. Thanks Rocky!!!

I tried to post a copy of the email photo Rocky sent to me of the Black Ops Pro holster he is making for me, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I'll post photos as soon as I receive it. I retired from the Delaware State Police due to being struck by lightning, holster has a Trooper's Head and lightning bolts on it. Can't wait to get mine!

I had been looking into getting A PK holster for a pistol I was supposed to be getting. Rocky was very helpful through E-mails. Unfortunately I dont think I will be getting that pistol. (We were ordering a bundle of custom pistols for our deployment and it looks as if it isnt going to happen). I would have no problem recomending PK to anyone just based on the customer service I recieved and I wasnt even a customer yet!

I have had my PK for a few weeks. Got a Cross Breed Supertuck about the same time and have been switching back and forth depending on which handgun I carry. If it hasn't been done I want to post a comparison of the two. I like them both, but they are two different animals. If you value workmanship you can't beat the PK.
