I carry my M&P40 full size and compact in The Slide OWB or Double Snap IWB that I make.

So many. Personally I'd go with a Crossbreed Supertuck for a hybrid, a Raven Concealment holster for kydex, or a Pure Kustom for pure leather. Each has multiple ways to wear the holster and can be adjusted for your preference.

I carry a full size M&P .40 everyday in a leather Galco IWB holster and find it very comfortable.
I carry the mid-size M&P .45 alot, and had a great IWB holster made for it by Overland Gun Leather. Very comfy and great CS, can't beat the price and the quality is awsome.
