I've had the keltec pf9 for about a year. Love it as much as a man can love a gun. I've been alternating carry in pocket, bellyband, and blackhills tuckable leather IWB. Here's the thing, just for sake of it, any who have one place in waistband without a holster and try and tuck shirt over it. Notice two things. How comfortable it is and also how well it hides. So my thing is I think a tuckable kydex would be the ticket. My beutiful custom leather holster made to fit my Crimson trace laser guard adds about 5/8's of an inch to the thickness of the whole package. So what holster do yall recommend. It has to be custom because I am a lefty and I have the laser guard. Thanks and I love this forum.
I am about to order a Crossbreed "mini-tuck" for my PF9. I am fortunate enough to live 5 miles from the only store Crossbreed sells them out of (besides online), which is in Springfield, MO. I tried one on the other day and it is awesome. Less leather than the supertuck. Very comfortable. I use a simple single clip nylon holster now which actually works well buy I want better retention and cant options.
There are different leather thicknesses, anywhere from really thin leather for vests chaps and pants,up to around 10/64ths maybe even thicker,I'm waiting on some metal belt clips for IWB holsters I make, there are several holster makers on here that have really thin leather holsters that can help you out
I haven't recieved mine yet to give you a full review of it, but I just ordered a High Noon Mr. Softy, which sounds like it would fit the bill for you. Check it out, for the price you really can't go wrong
Time to get some Kydex and start playing: you'll love it! www.knifekits.com is the place I get mine, and I find that the .008 stuff is almost too thick (=you probably would do fine with .006, though it might be wise to get both so you have the thicker stuff for making belt clips).
Thanks Paymiester, I am pretty good making stuff, got the trait from my dad. Have thought about doing it myself. is there any good tutorials on holster making out there? And can I use my gun or do I need a blue copy? I do like some of the Comp Tach models but I've tried on a supertuck with a j frame And it was remarkable how you could not feel the cylinder! But still concerned about printing. I will look into the do it yourself route. Thanks

I've seen crossbreed products habging on the wall in packages at Black Rifle in Columbia! I'm thinking kydex all the way for my PF9 when it gets here next week. I got a kholster for my bersa uc9 but that's a lot of holster for such a small gun IMO.

Oh, the guy at Kelley's Police and Tactical said they were the exclusive retailer for Crossbreed. I guess he was wrong. I'm interested in what other places in the region sell their stuff.....
Did yall get what I was saying about taking the gun and putting it in your waistband without a holster(probably have to tighten belt) and then carfully tuck shirt over it and notice how comfortable and how well it hides. That's the reason I bought the Pf9. I do have a elchepo uncle mikes size1 IWB that is very comfortable but like someone said above, no adjustment. Has anyone tried the Minitaur from comptach?

My bad: I meant .080 and .060, not .008 and .006 (which would make for REALLY thin holsters).
Well I broke down and bought everything I need to build my own kydex holster from the knifekits website. Can't wait till it gets here. When I get it done I promise to post pictures. I think I will start with a tuckable all kydex model, then (when I get some leather) I will try a hybrid like a crossbreed. Well, won't know till I try!
sorry i took so long to get back with pics of the holsters i've made for my pf9. i went a little crazy with the kydex. have already made 7 for me and some others. the all kydex IWB i made is the best thing ever. its tuckable ,I wore it to a funeral with shirt and tie only, had to sing on stage and noone the wiser, wore it 13 hours on the way back from the beach(7 hours driving, stoped to ride gocarts with daughter, and shopping). if anyone is intrested let me know. hope the pictures work, first time trying this.
