I'm using my favorite old Ruger Security Six in 2-3/4", and I'm looking for a black leather basketweave belt holster for a standard duty belt (2-1/4"), RH.
Used is okay, so long as it's in good shape and cleans up well. So far, I'm not seeing much, even on Ebay or Guns America. Can anybody out there direct me to said holster at a reasonable price?

Have you checked with El Paso Saddlery..? They make very nice tooled leather rigs.

Do a search for Safariland. They do police type leatherwork, and several on-line shops carry them. I had a Safariland thumb break paddle holster that I liked real well and fine quality - holster went with the Security Six when I gave it to my son-in-law.

Beautiful and thoughtful leatherwork at both sites, and the prices are very reasonable. Only thing is, I hate adding a beautiful new handtooled holster to my worn duty belt with its worn accessories. Makes me want to go out and buy all new belt and accessories.Originally Posted by los
