best OWB for a sig 220

I know that there are some sig junkies on here. Anyways, I need something for my police trade in sig 220. I'm looking for an owb, probably leather. I'm thinking about going the big name production place route as opposed to the custom route, although I'm not sure yet. I already have a good gun belt from UBG, so holding it up won't be an issue.

Here's a GREAT OWB holster, and I have two of them for my Glocks... FIST, INC.

The gun is held as tight to the body as any of my IWB's...a great holster.

The holster on the right with the Glock looks just like mine.

I've been praising the CrossBreed SnapSlide in another thread for my P228. Should be similar for the P220.

    OWB - factory production.......

The Desantis Speed Scabard may not be pretty but it rides high and tight to the body and retention is very good. It stands up well to a heavy gun (P220, Combat Commander, G21). Finally, the price is down right cheap.

    Good luck!

I've had a High Noon Topless for over ten years now. I will probably be getting a Side Guard for another gun soon.

I like High Noon but they are High end too.
If it is to be a Ford or a Chevy I would say Galco or Bianchi.

    Skin Guard
Is their lower cost ($50) holster. The material is softer than leather but does the job, I have an IWB from them made of the stuff.

DeSantis also makes a very good quality holster for around $65

Honestly, price is not that big of an issue, I'd like to keep the holster under $100 if possible, but am willing to look at higher priced options. Time is more of an issue, as I want the holster to be ready by the beginning of July.

I usually carry a full sized 1911, so I don't really foresee weight or size as much of an issue.

My vote is for the Bianchi CarryLok. It's inexpensive ($50-$60) and offers the middle finger release. Holds very tight to the body and looks sharp. It's an open top holster (which I think looks good) but with finger release security.

He's got a nice OWB model...

I just got an IWB from him for my P225, and couldn't be happier.

FWIW, I have holsters from big time custom makers that are truly no better designed, crafted, nor shipped with the speed that Nick delivers... And his prices will shock you as well, especially after you see what kind of quality you get... Definitely worth a shot, in my opinion... He's getting my next order for sure...
