You could buy the 30 shell from Comptac for $30-40 I believe. It will swap right out.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
Still can't believe what happened on 11/06/12! Disgusted and disappointed!

If it's a close fit, heating the shell with a hair dryer might loosen the kydex just enough to provide a better form fit.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

The glock 30 slide is .09 (one tenth of an inch) thicker across according to the Glock website's technical specs. To my untrained eye for glocks it would appear that all the other dimensions are near enough identical. It might be a tight fit. But like NY27 said, just buy a new shell for less than half the cost of a new holster! That happened to be the deciding factor in me getting an MTAC for this very reason should I ever have to.

I use both my 30 and 23 in the same MTAC. I just loosen up the retention screws a bit when using the 30 like you mentioned. No problems thus far.

Yeah, I think it could work. I'm thinking of buying the MTAC slide version for both the XD45C and 40SC. I was originally thinking of buying separate shells, but Comp-tac said the slide will fit both and I don't need different shells. For some reason Crossbreed ST won't work for both. Comptac said their leather is more forgiving. Let us know how it works out, good luck

Thanks, congrats on your G30. The 30sf was my second choice behind the XD45c. The ergonomics of the XD won it over for me.
