Bianchi Model 82 for Sig 229 - info needed

Does anyone have any info about this holster? I was looking at one at the local shop and like the way it looked, but have no idea how well it works. I'm not a huge fan of IWB carry. Does it pull the pistol in enough to make it conceal well? Thanks in advance.

I used one with my 1911 and it worked VERY well. Easilly hid my pistol under even a normal/tight t-shirt. The ONLY thing I hated was the belt slots are 1.75" and my belt is 1.25", made it just unstable enough to annoy me so I took it back.

The locking mechanism is really nice, it adds a bit of piece of mind and is easy to get used to and once the holster is broken in it's a smooth draw.

The holster also looks very good.

Does your local shop have a return policy? Mine did, that's the only reason I bought it. If you can return it, buy it and try it out for a week or two, see how it works for you.

didn't ever use this model, but I have used a Bianchi 19 and 19L, nice holster but there was too much "wobble" there, didn't hold it as close as I would of liked. I use a fairly rigid belt too, 1.5 inch made of kydex and leather.
there are several excellant holster makers on here that could tell you what you need to know and possibly make one to your specs!

Which brings me to the first thing that drew me to the 82, $50.

But for not much more than $50 you'd be able to discuss specific details with the guy who'd actually be making your holster. You get free advice from the best in the business, guys who stand behind their work and possibly be able to request custom "tweaking" of whatever design you choose. Hard to beat that kind of service.
Highly recommend Gary Brommeland, Kevin at K&D or Matt Del Fatti.

I have two of them for 1911s. They held me over till I got my Sparks. Anyway, they are an excellent rig for the price. They hold the gun tight to the body and the "carrylok" device works great and is extremely easy to operate. I would recommend one in a heartbeat for a great CCW rig in the $50 range!
