I use a Don Hume leather pocket holster for my G26. My wife expanded the pocket on some of my jeans, when needed. It works for me.
First off, welcome to the forum.
RM (RocketMan) Low Rider if you desire an all kydex holster. As the name implies it rides low. http://www.rmholsters.com/
CrossBreed SuperTuck Deluxe if you want a comfortable hybrid (half leather/half kydex). It is adjustable for cant and ride height and comfortable as all get out. I have one for my Glock 19 and one for my Sig P228. I have no problem concealing either even in summer attire - shorts and T-shirt. 6'1" 200 lbs. http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/
High Noon Mr. Softy if you appendix carry. High Noon Bare Asset, Public Secret (and others) in the leather variety. http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Prod...duct_line.html
Plenty of options. Good luck. Let us know what you decide on and how you like it.
Welcome aboard! :bier:
One thing to keep in mind, you want the weapon to be high enough in the holster to be able to get a good shooting grip on it as you draw so you don't have to re-grip it.
+1 RM Low Rider.
MTAC gets most carry time for me, though.
Shop here and you'll find all your holster needs... HOLSTERS
I'll second the Crossbreed. MTAC is a similar holster that allows adjustments for cant and depth of ride.
However, like Thumper mentioned, you may not want it too low. A good combat grip is essential for a good draw.
i bought the field grade holster from crossbreed works great and i also got the quick tuck works great also:hand10:
My EDC is a G27 and the Blackhawk check six is the most comfortable rig I have found so far, but the search still goes on
BlackHawk Leather Check-Six Holster FREE S&H 420700BK-L, 420700BK-R, 420701BK-L, 420701BK-R, 420702BK-L, 420702BK-R, 420703BK-L, 420703BK-R, 420704BK-L, 420704BK-R, 420705BK-L, 420705BK-R, 420706BK-L,
Well, at least we know you're going down the right path with Glock.
Welcome to the forum by the way.
6'4" and 295lb. Hmmmm. You could conceal way more than the G26 IMO. If you're talking IWB holsters, then might not forget about the High Noon holsters and a site sponsor. If you're into the OWB holsters, then I really like the Mitch Rosen offerings for getting things below the belt line with the Glock sub compacts.
