    Hello, Richard.

As zero stated, I have one of Ray's [Lobo Gun Leather] Model 1 pancake holsters. Also have a dump pouch.

It's probably the only owb holster I'll ever need for my model 40. It's boned perfectly to the handgun, creating precise retention. Ray's craftsmanship is outstanding. The holster is also made with a body-contoured shape.

Expect to receive your order in 4 weeks or less from the time you place it.

    Here's a photo of mine...

Thank you los and zero. I have a high confidence based on the email reply from Mr. Cory. He made an excellent suggestion to alter the cant on the holster to better accommodate wearing it just in front of my left hip.

You picking it up for your XD9SC?

I'm on an OWB kick and have been thinking about one for my small XD.

    Zero,

Actually I have recently purchased a Kahr CW9. I still have both of my XD pistols, including the sub compact. I think they are outstanding firearms.

I have carried the XD9sc and Browning Hi-Powers IWB until recently. Old age has brought on back and arthritis pain. So I have decided to carry a light pistol. IWB seems to be out of the question. So while I plan to keep the XDs and BHP pistols, my new CCW is the Kahr CW9.

I have a Don Hume pancake for the XD pistols and discovered that the pancake carried as well as my Comp-Tac CTAC holster. Although the CW9 fits in the Don Hume I like holsters made expressly for the pistol they carry.

Good deal on your Kahr. We have a couple MK9's that have been very good to us.

OWB pancake seems to be very comfortable and conceals well enough for most of my situations anymore. Be sure to let us know how things work out with your new set up. Those Lobo Leather prices are hard to pass up.

    Take Care.

Thanks, zero. I shot an MK9 before I selected the CW9. It is so well made. I consider 1911 Colt and Browning Hi-Powers to be among the great classic pistols. I also think Kahr pistols will be viewed as new classics! The best of old and new. Stay safe out there in New Mexico.

I'm diggin' the belt tunnels. I'd really like to see some pics of this thing being worn by some of you guys. I'd like to see how it rides and how close it's pulled in.

    Darn good looking holster, Sip..

Great photography. The photos clearly demonstrate how tight-to-the-body the Lobo enhanced pancake, rides.

Good looking leather, cool design (of course nice SP101).

I sure am looking forward to the one I ordered for my J frame.
