Shoulder holster question
About a month ago I saw a shoulder holster rig for 1911s that had a strap that went across the back, beneath the X straps & between the mag pouch and the bottom of the holster proper. I thought I bookmarked the manufacturer but I'll be darned if I can find it now.
The idea is that it keeps the barrel end of the vertical-oriented holster from swinging out and keeps everything snug to the body.
Any ideas?
Thanks-

No idea... BUT
Shoulder holsters are PAINFUL and very UNCOMFORTABLE. (especially with a heavy gun like the 1911)

NOT true. You need to find a shoulder rig that fits YOU. The straps have the most to do with comfort. Their thickness, wideness and how well they can be adjusted.
Not quite sure of the holster you are talking about though.

Yes, the strap prevents sway when you bend over, run, etc...
Search this forum for other shoulder holster threads for more details...

Don't recall the brand of the shoulder holster I carried with my Beretta Brigadier 92FS but man it hurt! it would sag more on the left due to the weight even with 2 clips on the right to even things out. This was even properly adjusted the fit for my frame. it wasn't a very expensive one and not leather, so that most likely had alot to do with it.
BTW I think I found your webpage: (looks nice)
