    Serpa for 1911

Does anyone here use a Serpa for a 1911. I have Serpa for my Glock and I am thinking of getting one for my 1911. I tried one in a store and it just seamed much tighter than the one for my Glocks. Just looking for opinions and other options.

I do and I love it!

In keeping with the "Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot..." rule, I make a habit of keeping my trigger finger on the slide stop pin, where it sticks out a little bit.

When I push the little button on the Serpa and draw the gun, my finger's automatically where it needs to be :) :) :)

I like my SERPA for crossdraw carry. The great thing about these holsters is their versatility:

    Good holster.

That which does not kill us leaves us broken and bleeding...

Donít mess with the guy who can barely stand up. His remaining options for self-defense don't include your survival.

I use my serpa when I am in a suit (usually making stops to and from work). Mine is not too tight. I don't think you will have any problems with it.
