Taurus 605 IWB?
I haven't gotten my CCW yet, but I figured I'd do some research while I am waiting to take my class/test. From what I've seen, a good quality IWB holster made specifically for the 605 is tough to find, but I've seen a few people mention that most holsters that will fit a Smith J Frame would work fine. Could anyone that carries a 605 maybe give me some insight on this? It'd be much appreciated!
I've got the 617 the 7 shot version and bobbed the hammer and the 651 with the shrouded hammer. Love them both. I've used uncle mikes for both when not in the smartcarry holster. Most of your better leather holster makers can supply you with holsters. Hope that helps!
AKJ/Concealco makes a leather IWB holster that works great for the Taurus 85/606/650/651. You can often find his "ready-line" version on EBay for about 2/3 of his regular price. The ready-line isn't as pretty (it is rough side out, smooth side in), but "concealed" is concealed (nobody is going to see it anyway).
Many, but definitely not all, J frame and some k frame holsters will work. The Taurus revolvers are close to J frame size but slightly larger in some dimensions.
Will most holsters that fit the 85/606/650/651 fit the 605 do you think?

IWB = H715 M No. 4A works great & fits perfectly with my 605.
I cannot find a picture that represents this holster well. It also fits a S&W 640.
It's close to this one, except that it has the belt clip , rather than leather & snaps. This one should also work fine.

Pocket holster : 011 No. 3-2"
My mistake, I meant to say 85/605/650/651! My wife has a 605, I have a 650; the holsters are the same.
