    Taurus Slim 709

This has probably already been asked and my appology if so. I guess that is an admission of not searching isn't it.

Do any of you use or know someone who uses a Taurus Slim 709 an if so what brand holster are they using? I am looking for IWB type holsters.

    Thanks for any tips.

I have made quite a few IWB holsters for the PT 709.
    Nice thin conceal carry gun.

No problem, I have 2 Stronghold phoenix holsters RH in black sitting on the shelf.

I pretty much have every line memorized as well. Makes great background noise when I work.

I have an MTAC from Comp-Tac. Very comfortable and easy to carry. Carrying the 709 almost feels like cheating.

    SuperTuck/CrossBreed... I don't get it.

I know lots of people swear these rigs are so comfy that you don't even realize you are wearing them... but come on!

The slab of leather and Kydex material is 3X the size of the gun! It looks more like a medical transplant than a holster. I simply cannot believe a get-up with that much material can be more comfortable than a simple IWB holster. I know the design is supposed to allow you to tuck in a shirt over the gun, but still...4 pounds of leather and kydex to hide a 22 oz. gun? Really?

Like everything else, I spose it works for some, but it's not something on my list.

I have a Galco Summer Comfort made for an XD-9. My 709 Slim fits in it, but so does my Baby Eagle .40, my S&W 659, my Glock 22, my Beretta PX 4 Storm, my CZ-82, oh yeah my XD-9.

Thanks. Right now I have an Uncle Mikes SideKick size 0. However I am having a time with the clip on this holster. Need something with a better clip or belt loops yet still IWB.

Thank again everybody for all the tips and suggestions.
