I'm the same way. I wear both my Super Tuck Deluxe holsters with either my H&K P30 or my XD45 compact under a variety of shirts but I especially like the Columbia's you find at Bass Pro with the vents in the back. Those shirts are square bottom so they can be worn out or "in."

I'll have to look for them next time I'm out that way near an Outdoor World store. Any chance you know the name of the style of shirt or something to make it easier to locate in the store for me to check out? If you could link to it off their site that would be super, but don't go out of your way digging if it's difficult to find.

I have some of each of the links I have given above. They are all excellent shirts and can be worn in or "out" but one does have a slight sense of having a tuck in sort of "tail," but it's minimal. I use those as my NRA Instructor shirts to which I've had the NRA Instructor patches sewn. I tuck them in and look super professional for my ccw permit classes.

I wear, for work, the straight cut shirts and shorts. I get them at Kohls... big selection. I AIWB carry or pocket carry. I use either Docker or Croft and Barrow shorts. They both have big pockets and the Croft and Barrow shorts stretch a little, so it is easy to carry IWB.
They have a wide selection of shirts, lol, not just Hawaiian. I rarely wear "loud"" shirts. I also wear the same shorts with t-shirts. No problems

Thanks for the Links! Those shirts look pretty good, I'll go check them out this weekend. I also don't like loud shirts, but I do have an affinity for Tommy Bahama stuff, although they are pricey by comparison. I like the plain colors tho, they seem more subdued and don't attract much attention. Cool.

Loud shirts serve the exact same purpose that a Ghillie suit does a sniper. It breaks but the lines and significant profiles and angles that "printing" may have in revealing the presence of a firearm under your cover.

I carry a Glock 23 in a SuperTuck almost daily. No undershirt. I'm in Texas, without about the same weather.

    Banded bottoms

I wear a lot of banded bottom shirts. They naturally blouse at the waist. They cover a medium GLOCK 19 size gun in a highride pancake style holster.

They come in styles and colors suitable for cargo shorts, jeans, chinos and dress slacks. Look at Cabelas, Land's End, or your local department store. Or just Google "mens banded bottom shirt"

Depending on the threat condition, ie, going to the grocery store mid morning (seecamp, inside pocket) vs going to the stop and shop at midnight (1911, OWB) But always carry something!

The holster with the Glock in it is just like mine...it rides high and tight.

Keep in mind, that I always used IWB holsters because I liked the gun to hug the body and conceal easily. Then I tried an OWB holster for the heck of it...now I basically stick to the Fist #12 Basic. It hugs the body as well as any of my IWB holsters and is still easily concealed.
+1 for the fist #12 basic

As of late in S GA in the super hot and humid summer we are having I have rotated. I carry either a M38 in a Mika in pocket or a G26 in a High noon Hidden Alley AIWB at 1 o clock. Most days I wear a wife beater under a regular t shirt or button up shirt and a pair of shorts. I would wear at 3 but afraid of getting bumped into. There are days I take off my Glock and its dripping with sweat those are the days Im glad its a Glock.
