hello all i live in st. pete fl. its 95 degrees and 90%humidity this time of the year. i try to carry my mtac and my g26 but its so damn hot out. its unbearable to have it in my pants lol. my j frame in a high noon mr softy appendix carry is quite comfy and my p32 pocket carry is amazing. what is everyone else doing in your scorching hot areas.

The holster with the Glock in it is just like mine...it rides high and tight.

Keep in mind, that I always used IWB holsters because I liked the gun to hug the body and conceal easily. Then I tried an OWB holster for the heck of it...now I basically stick to the Fist #12 Basic. It hugs the body as well as any of my IWB holsters and is still easily concealed.

I live just north of you (somewhat, kinda-sorta)........primarily the same weather. I love my MTAC and my G23 rides very comfortably (for me anyway) IWB.

I'd recommend looking for an OWB/paddle holster with a sweatguard.

Once it hits 105+, it's just hot, hot, hot. Doesn't matter what you do or how you dress, it's still H-O-T


I just roll with an a-shirt, aka 'wifebeater', and a SuperTuck, year round.


Actually, sometimes a more loose undershirt is cooler... YMMV.

Count me in for pocket carry as well. I actually have a SmartCarry on order that I'm going to try out. I usually have to tuck in a shirt so OWB just doesn't work for that.

I usually carry a PPS 9mm in an OWB TTGunleather Snap Removable Pancake while wearing untucked shirts. Very comfortable though if I am out for long I will wear a tshirt under to keep sweat off the pistol. That actually is not any hotter as layering is a cooling factor.

thanks for the great replys guys once i get a better belt im gonna give the mtac a better chance another issue is my build size a medium t shirt fits me great but no matter where i wear my glock i can tell the handle slightly prints everyone i show says they cant tell but idk what do you guys think. ive tried a large t shirt and it falls off me lol.

I'm your neighbor and in this weather I carry a Kel-Tec P3AT in a DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster in cargo shorts. No printing at all and light enough for no sagging. For evening wear I usually carry my S&W 342 in a Smart Carry. The titanium snubby is so light you forget it's there.

I live in orlando I carry with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. beltman belt paired with a don hume owb 721OT for all my carry guns :)

wife beater under any shirt makes the heat more bearable and keeps the gun off my skin...

g26...g19...g30sf...

hume 715 iwb...blade tech iwb...or hume 721 owb...under a loose t or a hawaiin...all do a great job of concealing and are comfortable all day long...and into the night if i fall asleep in my chair...

ya i love pocket carrying my p32 i may have to step up to a p3at or a lcp for a lilmore stopig power in my acticve life style and nt being able to carry at work pocket carrying or appendix carrying my revolver seems to be the quikest easiest route.
