Sig p226 prototype...unfinished/raw
Thought I'd put up a raw version of a prototype I'm working on for the Sig P226. No dye, no finish, the edges are beveled, but that's it. Edges are unfinished. This one's a right-hand, 20-degree rake, OWB, for a 1.5" gunbelt with a shirt/sweat/slide guard. All input is most welcome.

Don't know what happened. Pics won't come up, but the links (edited) work for me.

I'm seeing the pic just fine. FYI.
Super nice Bruce.
The OWBs for SIG handguns really benefit by having that forward rake.
All of my OWBs have a decent amount of forward rake.
BTW - Should fit the SIG 220 perfectly also.

Members can visit the GibsonGunleather link and see what assorted gunleather Bruce has posted for immediate sale.
His impeccably crafted carry leather is the cats doggone ass and it's almost like a best kept secret.

Thank you, QK! You just made my whole month. Website's a little rough right now--moving things around, doing an overhaul. This holster's a prototype--about as rough as they get--I'll have to make at least one more to get the shell where it needs to be. It needs a little modifying.
For the record, the leather's Hermann Oak, so they get some credit for the "workability." Like anything else, if the raw materials are premium, it's real hard to mess up too bad.

I like it! Finish it in black and send it to me for my P-220R!

Thanks, everybody. Again, it's a prototype--I'll take the next one all the way through the "finished" stage. I'm not attempting to put myself in his category by any means, but Matt Del Fatti's amazing work was certainly an influence on this one.

Bruce is being a bit modest but, that is only because he is just not a pretentious person by nature.
An undisputed fact is that he has been making the highest quality professional rodeo leather gear (for years) ~ for the "genuine official" real competitive bull riders...as well as crafting some of the finest leather gun belts that I've ever laid eyes on.
His gun holsters are now right up there at the very tip top of the heap and his reputation and personal integrity are every bit as Sterling as all of his leather goods.
Consider that to be an endorsement and...I wouldna said it iffen it twernt all true.
