I was just wanting some info from anybody that has one, is it comfy , ride well , etc..... I have a chance to get one for $95 brand new. This will be for a full size 1911, usuall carry in a Milt Sparks VM II, so just looking for input.
Thanks Tom
I equate the Kramer IWB's to a Sparks Summer Special in terms of the design, fit and loops. Kramer holsters are built to last and if you like that design I'd suggest you go for it.
I bought it , it is black Horsehide NIB,ended up paying $88 for it. I also bought a NIB Horsehide 1 1/2" Kramer belt for $69, I thought overall, these were pretty good deals.
Kramer made good stuff. I always buy their products in horsehide. While you can not get the real detailed molding you can with cowhide, they are still plenty secure and horsehide wears well and is naturally water repellent.
Was the belt double thick? I like my belts double thick for lateral support ie holding close to the body.
I can't see a Kramer #2 being more comfortable, for most folks, than a Sparks VM2, but the different way of mounting the belt loops will enable it to fit pants' belt loops that are spaced so they may not fit a VM2. That is why I have both, myself.
