Is there such a thing as IWB magazine holsters? Any with a cant built in??

If so who makes them or where can they be found?

I am now using my new Glock 19 for a edc, and it's not so much the gun but the spare magazine that I find uncomfortable.

I am currently using a metal clip on the waistband, worn IWB to stay out of view. The top of the magazine is digging into my waist, as we speak. Giving it a little cant although it's made to go straight down helps.

And yes, I am wearing a thin layer against the skin, so the magazine is not on skin.

Ideas? Or is there something I am not getting about how this should ride to avoid the ouch and be less noticeable?

This is what I am using, worn at 8:30, clip on waistband of jeans, magazine to the inside of pants. It's probably not designed to be IWB.

    Hey, CG.

TT Gunleather makes single and double IWB mag pouches. Email Tim for Cant questions. He's very good with Com.

Thanks. Here it is, a beauty..... http://www.ttgunleather.com/catalog/i14.html Just what I am looking for.

I also went to Milt Sparks and I see he makes a single and a double with a high leather guard for IWB specifically.

    Wasn't looking hard enough apparently.

    No problemo.

There's probably a few more makers. I'll report back if I come across some more.

I've got BigO making me a custom leather IWB dual mag pouch as I type this. For non leather, I'm looking into a nylon dual mag pouch from Remora (testing one of their clipless IWB holsters for my 5" 1911 right now, so far I'm really impressed with it for the money I paid.)

Post a pic when it's made!

That Remora looks pretty interesting. So simple.

Also, thank you for that previous thread, Varob. Helpful links.

Perhaps a horizontal mag pouch would prove to be more comfortable.

I didn't list a particular brand, but Bing "horizontal mag pouch"...or Google if you prefer.

I don't know anyone who has tried this method with any success but if you must, maybe try it with two mags since the extra width may spread it out more comfortably in the pants than a single stack...
