I vote loops!

I like loops with snaps. Easy on and off for the most part. I have made both and clips work fine too. Advantage of clips are that they can be made with adjustable screw mounting holes giving a custom preference to wear height and angle.
Snaps on loops are my favorite. They can be put on and taken off very easily and discreetly if needed.
The best kind are the "one-way" pull type that only unsnap when pulled from a certain direction.

I use HighNoon holsters (Public Secret IWB) with clips which are of a very high quality. Loops are a bit bulky for me wearing the holster under a light shirt here in Florida.

Loops for all day or extended periods of carry for comfort and security, clips for times when you have to "grab it and go."
I like clips. I don't always wear a belt. I also like being able to remove the holster without undoing the belt.
Now, if you carry a full size, heavy firearm, then loops and a good gunbelt.
I'm a fan of velcro clips. They work well for me.
I just had a thought today....I've got loops with snaps on my gun holster, and a metal clip on the companion spare magazine holster.
When using the facilities, the clip is more likely to scrape my skin on the way down for an ouch, the loops just slide politely.
