Stealth Defense Holster - One guys evaluation
I received the holster today...June 8th. First impressions...a bit of leather, plastic belt hook and 1.5" elastic band with a bit of Velcro. About what I expected...$59 might be a bit expensive for this combination of materials.
Shows the way the holster arrived.
Photos of the back of the holster and where the gun slips in.
Photo of the front of the holster.
I tried my Kahr CW9 which worked into the holster well but still protruded because of my belly. I also tried my Ruger LCR but the handle of the gun stuck above the elastic band and really presented itself under clothes.
You can see that the gun sticks out as my big gut pushes it out. Granted I am wearing a semi tight shirt but I really hate a super baggy shirt (kind of says look at me...I must be hidding something). The Kahr was bad...the Ruger was really bad. I moved the holster over to about 3 - 3:30 which helped but I have a real problem reaching around that far and grabbing the gun.
My final review is that this is about what I expected. If you are fit and trim you could most likely get away with this holster working for you. Us chubby guys...you know who you are?!...will find it difficult to use this type of holster. I have more photos if anyone is interested. I think I will stick with my Cross Breed ST & MT.
By the way...anyone wanting to buy this setup from me can for $20 plus $5 shipping. PayPal payment required. Contact me PM to discuss. First come...first gets!
