    I'm like you, 5'10", 170#. If it is for your Glock 26, the Glock combat/sport holster hold it nice and tight to the body. Good retention and ease of draw. I always "assumed" that they were junk until I purchased one. For $13 -17 you cannot go wrong. Check E-bay, they usually have a bunch.

    It's actually for the commander size 1911 I'll be purchasing in three weeks.

    Agreed. At that point I mines well be using a IWB.

    I also have the M&P 40 and use an Itac paddle holster.
    Does leav small print but here in Florida as long as it is covered there is no problem.
    How is in other states?
    I looked at Blackhawk locking paddle holsters but the Itac locking system and roto holster was better.
