M&P 40c methods and holsters for concealed carry

Good day, I am new to the forum, new to law enforcement, new to conceal carry, and new to M&P 40c. I have had a SW99 40 for years and have really enjoyed the pistol. The M&P 40c came highly recommended. I bought one and have enjoyed shooting it very much. Only about 200 rounds so far and not one problem with the firearm.

My question is: what are some methods of concealed carry and holsters other M&P 40c carriers are using for CCW? I am very aware that this all boils down to personal preference, body type, accessibility, draw time and so on. Any info would help, Im all ears.

Thank you in advance for your help. David.

    Crossbreed SuperTuck

I carry an M&P 9c in a Crossbreed SuperTuck (horsehide 'cause I live in HOT Texas). Didn't get the combat cut but have trimmed it a little to closely resemble that cut.

Comp-tac CTAC, or K&D Dakota Defender. Both are tuckable, extremely good retention, hug close to body.

    IWB: Comp-tac MTAC

Ankle: Galco Ankle Lite (yes you can ankle carry this and I am very comfortable doing so)

Most recently my new favorite method on weekends is pocket carry with cargo shorts. Don't have a pocket holster yey. For now using my Comp=tac infidel with the clip removed. Very comfortable during the hot summer days in Florida.

OWB: Also a new favorite of mine during the week at work. Wearing a casual button down shirt, not tucked in I use a Comp-tac Minotaur Gladiator

I carry a few different ways depending on what I'm wearing or if I'm riding my bike.

When I am on the bike I prefer my shoulder holster, it's extremely comfortable and since I always wear a jacket (even in the summer) fairly easy to hide.

I have an IWB and an OWB holster that I use depending on what shirt I wear that day. My OWB is so comfortable, I love that holster. The IWB is pretty good too, I just normally have to adjust it when I sit down...

I also carry my 9c in a Crossbreed Supertuck. But I did get the combat cut (I don't understand how you can use this holster without the combat cut).

If it looks funny, it's because it's a left handed holster.

I hope you enjoy your M&P. I have over 6500 rounds though mine and have never had a problem.

LOL, I didn't even notice. It was just one of the recently updated threads on the homepage. Oh well, everyone on here loves holster porn. The more the merrier.
