Thumbs up Mad Props to Alessi.

I ordered a holster on June 4th and was not expecting it to be done till September, got an email today that it was ready to ship.

All would be well and good, but the gun the holster is for won't be ready till September.

Maybe Nighthawk can take a cue from Alessi and get my gun done super fast.

That is a sad, sad, story JD. Maybe you will just have to try it out with one of your other 1911's.

Sounds like you are going top notch with your carry rig.

The holster is for a railed 1911, all my current models are non-railed. I went with a VMII for IWB and an Alessi PSS for the OWB

I ordered a holster and a belt back in March. They called 3 weeks later and said the holster was ready. Asked if I wanted to ship it separate for $10 extra, or wait. I said wait. Bad idea. The belt thing has been going on for a long time now. I called at the end of May and the end of June. Both times I was told my order was almost up in the queue. Now we're sneaking up on August and the whole thing is still held up.

The worst part about it is that I ordered the belt a LOT smaller than I am now as I'm working to lose weight. I couldn't use it if it arrived today!
In the Marine Corps I carried one of the standard Beretta M9 service pistols in a traditional duty holster. Now it's a 1911 in a SuperTuck. I'm glad for the upgrade.

It arrived yesterday, didn't notice it till this morning as the the was in between the front doors that we seldom use. Definitely a nice rig, will post some pictures of it later this evening. Gonna be busy this weekend, gotta write up the range report for the 238 and G21 and should have an order from CompTac coming in soon which if it does I plan on running the G21 at this weekends IDPA match.

When I placed my order for the 'Deep Concealment' the payment page notice estimated 8-weeks, and it arrived 8-weeks to the day! The shipping fee was a fair 10-bucks and I like the holster to boot! No complaints from this anal OCD gun nut.
