I had to post a review of my new holster from Kolbeson. I opted for the DPS in black.
The quality of his holsters are simply amazing, solid construction, hand stitched and excellent retention. I've worn it for about a week now and it's breaking in nicely. The DPS allows for IWB or OWB with about a 10 degree cant, have to remove clips for OWB.. And get this, the wait time is 10-15 business days!
Josh kept me informed of the estimated ship time and even sent a pic before it shipped.
Can't say enough good things, stop by his site and take a look.
that holster looks great! Where are you wearing it at?
The Dalai Lama:"If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun."
IWB about 4:30, OWB right at 3. I ordered one for my G19, the pic above is from his site, need to get a pic of mine up.
Nice rig. I like the stippling job. This looks a lot like a Bullard Dual Carry overall, except the clips look much thicker/ stronger...those are metal, no?
I always aim for the right eye...and I never miss - Goldeneye
They are metal, very strong. I could easily bend the clips on my SuperTuck, but not these.
Wow, after the LEO discount that holster would be less than $65.00! Although it obviously looks better and provides the option for OWB, how does it compare as far as COMFORT to the CB Supertuck? That is what interests me the most. Are there only one set of holes for the metal clips? That seems like a draw back as far as cant and adjustment needs. Thanks.

I could never find a comfortable position with the Supertuck, but that's just me. I think the size of it was just too big for my body type/shape. After wearing the DPS for the last week, I'm starting to forget it's there. Took a little while to find the right place, but so far so good. There are no additional holes for the clips. But, adding more holes would increase the overall size of the holster and put me back into the same issue I had with the Supertuck I think.
I was thinking about the Bullard dual position before I saw Kolbeson's site, but the 10-15 day wait instead of the 3 month wait kind of sealed the deal for me.

Holy crap that's nice!!!
I just stumbled upon Josh's site this week and ordered a leather IWB today... Just wondering if you're still happy with it? It looks to be good quality stuff, reasonable prices and reasonable ship times. I was gonna get a Milt Sparks but didn't feel like waiting 30 weeks!
Boy they have some nice hloster's & the pricing is right also, Thanks for the post on them.
Yep, been wearing it since July, no issues at all. Great work for a great price.
