IWB Speed Strip Pouch
So, like many of us I have been working with leather for a little while. I had been carrying a couple speedloaders in my pocket for a revolver reload, but I decided that they were too bulky with the phone, flashlight, keys, etc. I tried to wear them on my belt, but they stick out about an inch, so I got my Speed Strips and set to work making a leather speed strip pouch. It's crazy how uncommon a good leather pouch that will hold 2 speed strips is. I saw a similar design online somewhere, then added a clip to wear them IWB if I need to tuck my shirt in.

I encourage anyone who is interested in leathercraft, holsters, belts, or the like to really get into working with leather. It is a great past time that will provide you with what you want, not what a factory offers.

Cool design. I like it.
Since this is a IWB pouch, does belt tightness effect the act of [quickly and positively] extracting a speedstrip?

I'll be honest with you, I just finished this, and haven't had much time to fiddle with it. I can pull them out realitively easily, but I don't wear my belt cinched down either. The biggest problem is seperating the two 'grab tabs' but if I just push the tab over one will naturally just be easier to grab.
It could also be used as a standard owb belt holster if so desired.

You can probably create a little seperation between the tabs by slightly elevating one of the strips. This can be done by sticking a few crumpled/folded tissue papers down on one end of the pouch.
Regarless, it's a great way to carry two full reloads.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Good stuff, good idea. I wonder if belt tightness would have to be adjusted to allow easy access, but a move in the right direction for sure.

Seems like the start of a good idea. When I grab my Ruger, I just put a speed strip or two in my pocket.
