A good gun belt will do wonders. Or go for a shoulder holster.

What kind of belt are you trying to use when you carry? Get a purpose made gun belt, that should help fix your problem, because a lot of store bought belts aren't strong enough. What kind of handguna re you trying to conceal? I carry a full size 1911 and two spare mags on my belt, no problems with the pants falling down. Also, are your pants too big to begin with?

I have the exact same problem...no butt,no hips. A good gun belt has done wonders for me. I tried using regular belts for a while but my firearm and pants just kept sagging. A good stiff gun belt solved the problem!

thanks for the quick reply. I am carrying a smith and wesson 640 revolver. currently carrying in a "smart carry". I haven't every carrried in a belt or Iwb holster, so just looking for some advice.
A good belt used in conjuction with suspenders will most likely solve your issue.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.
Good belt or no, it might just be time for some Perry Suspenders.
+1 on the suspenders. Or shoulder harness I guess, because unless you get the weight off your belt or out of your pocket - the pants are coming down. Never seen them before, but those Perry suspenders look pretty neat.
smartcarry?...and your pants fall down?...doesnt sound like a gun belt situation...
zip and button your pants....
I have used a pair of Dickie's or Perry's suspenders I got from Wal-Mart that hook directly to the belt in the past. I wore under cover shirt with this setup and it worked with most any belt. I carried a full sized 1911 for awhile with this setup and a OWB holster. Suspenders take weight off belt, suspenders are invisible this way and pants don't sag.

SOunds like keeping pants up might be tough, even without a gun & holster. The suspenders should solve the problem of keeping your pants up. A good quality gun belt will help keep the gun in place.
Turn off the hip-hop music, and turn your hat around. Then your pants will stay up.![]()
Seriously, get a good belt made for carrying a gun.
