New leather glock holster
Almost finished with my two new daily wear holsters. I've had lots of help. I just need to add some snaps and oil them.
I'm not sure if I want to stain this any darker as it's nice as is. But since I'll be OWB concealing it I may go a dark brown.

I just don't want to mess it up like I did with this one. I tried a redish color over the oiled brown. It already had the black specks on it. But I bought it as an unfinished second.

Here is my black one. The stamp I placed on it is a mon from my MA school.

No Sir, my friend did that. He's about 80 yrs old and pretty good at it. Colorful fella, he's a preacher of some sort now but learned tooling while he was in prison. I didn't sew it either. Just the easy parts like cut it and block it.

10casual, what is the weight of the leather you use; 8-9, 9-10 or other? They look good.

That 'prison preacher tooling' is pretty cool.

I've been dabbling myself in some holsters. Yours are quite nice.

I reduced it from about 12 oz to 9 oz. They are wicket & craig leather. The one I colored funny is tandy leather.
Thank you.

I get the seconds from COWS. I work there as the bookkeeper and clothing shipper. That's how I got into CC. The boss asks us wear them and learn about firearms.
Well...the tan leather holster pulls away from the belt at the top.
I guess this is due to the 15 rounds in the mag. I wonder if a G26 would have the same problem with the shorter handle.
I should have made a hole for the belt to come out of on the very bottom of the holster here

instead of just the back.
The black holster works fine because the leather has some kinda hardening agent in it. But they both are very nice work holsters. I can sit at a desk, drive, or work in the warehouse just fine.
Now to modify the tan holster...

Very nice holsters! I really like the second one, the reddish-brown one.
