As the title suggests......are the Airsoft or Tangfolio air pistols accurate enough for leather or kydex molding?
The reason I ask is because the air guns are WAY cheaper then "Blue" Guns or "Red" Guns.

Airsoft pistols tend to be about $20, which is half the cost of the Blue Guns or Red guns. That said, they are thin, brittle plastic and I wouldn't do any molding--the force required to mold leather to it would probably break it pretty easily and the Kydex could get hot enough to warp the plastic. The Blue or Red Guns, or the aluminum ones from Duncan's Customs, are going to last you through hundreds and thousands of holsters, while the Airsoft pistols may last one or two. Buy once, cry once as they say :)
