I have been reading here and anywhere else I can find on creating my own holsters. After a few attempts of making holster in Kydex which I really enjoyed I finally decided to take the plunge into all leather. I was just never happy with an all kydex holster. I am pleased with the way these came out and they are comfortable. Anyway, let me know what you think.

Good job! I wish I had the money/time/room in my apartment at school to experiment with stuff like this. I bought some kydex, but it's at home with the tools I need to work on it so I'm not sure how long it will be till I get the chance to really work with it.

If I may make a suggestion; on your next one (and I'm sure there will be, as I'm sure the leatherbug bit you) pay special attention to the area near the triggerguard where your middle finger comes into contact with the gun frame. The trick is to leave enough room around the triggerguard to be able to achieve a full firing grip on the initial draw while still allowing for full trigger coverage.

Thanks for the tip Adam. Were you thinking I need more room on the one on the left, right or both?? Would this be more about angle of the gun, or just not having the leather come up that far? Thanks for the kind words everyone.

It's more so about the leaving clearance in that area during the making of your pattern so that the leather kinda follows the outside contour of the triggerguard. Just shoot me a PM if I can be of any help.
