I prefer my CrossBreed Belt. I read alot of bad reviews on the Beltman Belts scuffing and turn around time was long. I got my belt and CBST holster in a matter of 3 weeks! Wear it every day now and it is very firm but comfortable!
I have belts by Kramer which are excellant, but expensive. I also have belts by A&G, overall you can't find a better belt than A&G, and the CS is outstanding.
+1 on the Wilderness Instructor belt. I got mine extra stiff with the polymer insert. That thing will not bow or collapse if you tried. Best value IMHO. I also have a Crossbreed belt. It nice but I like how thin, strong, and light the wilderness belt is.
An earlier post mentioned the "Double Duty" from Cabelas. I'll second that. $39.95 with good hardware and double thickness bridle leather.

Wilderness 5 stitch 1.75in. Very sturdy and comfy. I wear it even when I'm not carrying unless I need to wear a leather belt.
Try one of the Blade Tech offerings: http://www.blade-tech.com/Blade-Tech...e-pr-1250.html
I've had one for about 2 months. Very comfortable and supports all of my guns (officer and commander sized 1911s and, a P7M8 well. Good price and U.S. made!
The Cabelas Double Duty belt it on sale right now but reviews are mixed about the quality and it seems really extra thick. Any opinions? Also how about the belt from Simply Rugged? His price of $45 seems like a great deal, but it's only a single layer of leather. I this going to be stout enough for a gun belt?
Anybody has experience with the Comp-Tac belts?

I have one of the 5.11 leather belts and must say it has not held up well. I have used it less than a year, and within a few weeks the finish started rubbing off. A few months in and the plastic stiffener broke at one of the holes, it's not broken in two places. It's stretching a lot now, but I'm still using it. I think I will check out A&G after these recommendations.
I bought one from Stoner Holsters, it's the best money I've spent in awhile.
I just bought a belt from Bullhide. I will update when it arrives and I try it out.
