Ruger LCR Pocket Holster Recommendations
As a Ruger LCR owner, and as a pocket holster owner, WHICH pocket holster from WHOM would you recommend and why?
My criteria:
Available within a reasonable timeframe;
Leather;
Reasonable cost;
Reputable leather shop;
Many many thanks in advance for your ideas!!!!!!!!! This will probably be for my lovely bride.

I am not a leather fan but I did want to mention that for pocket carry (IMO), presenting the firearm out of the pocket holster and feeling confident that the holster will remain in your pocket with little movement is the main issue. The best way this can be accomplished is with a "thumb push", which is a reenforced area at the front top of the holster where you thumb would be when you are trying to remove the firearm from the holster; as you reach to remove the firearm, your thumb is naturally guided to the top of the holster and is pushing down on the holster as you are pulling up with your hand and the firearm--some leather holster mfgrs integrate this in their design and I would heartily recommend that it be included in the holster you choose. Some mfgrs have wings at the bottom of the holster that sort of secure it in your pocket but I guarantee you that the thumb push is, by far, the best design. I happen to like kydex and have actually glued a piece of bike tire at the top of the holster exactly where my thumb would be and it works like a charm. For leather, I would assume you are looking for some looks but there are some leather guys who do incorporate the "thumb push" in their designs.

I'm interested in this as well. I bought a Nemesis for the time being, but want to upgrade to something a little better. I might eventually get the Crossbreed Quickclip for IWB carry.

I am a LCR owner, but I find it too large for pocket carry. I do pocket carry other weapons. Given that, I did consider the following for my LCR:

Don Hume J.I.T. slide. I like this little holster for my LCR, my PM9, my CW9. They are only like $23 to $25 depending on where you get it. OWB belt holster. Leather, light weight, and cost efficient.

I know your preference for leather but I have a LCR and a SW 642 both ride in Nemisis holsters and hide exremely well.

Hiyo Two Guns!! A fellow NH'ite!!
The LCR in my stable, which my wife carries as her EDC, is carried in a Nemisis. She was comfortable with the Nemisis when she EDC'd a Kahr MK9 and she's happy with that carry with the LCR. YMMV. :)

D.M.Bullard has some real good prices, but I was a little surprised at the lead time.
Understandable for a one man show. Looking forward to a holster review when you get it

I've got the Nemesis for the LCP. I decided to try out one of these Remora holsters for the time being, until I can afford a nice leather one.
If that Bullard works out for you, I may have to seriously consider one

As for the D.M. Bullard leather pocket holsters I have one with the smooth outside.If I am wearing my shorts I do use it instead of the Nemisis as the pockets are so large in the shorts.

For a pocket semi auto I use the Nemisis and for a small wheel gun the Mika pocket holster. I don't want a snug fit on a pocket holster like I do on a OWB holster. Totally different areas and ways of carrying.
