All good and valid points. I agree with you all in many areas..... thanks for pointing out about losing the weight..ughhh even at 43 my body has other plans for me. I tend to wear the same cut of jeans namely straight cut leg relaxed fit, but NOT those baggy jeans. I also like the 5.11 tactical pants, not the ripstop style. Once I get the holster I will certainly explore the possibilities and I do intend on purchasing a good quality belt as referenced in another post here. I am currently using the 5.11 tactical belt, nylon with the velcro attached as well.
Regarding Cape Cod.... yes its very nice here and I could only wish I was a book writer but I am a voracious reader. In the place of being an author I am a 22yr. LEO for the state.
Thanks again for all the replies.

Try LLBean's comfort cut trousers and you can wear them with or without IWB. Go to LLBEAn.COM and search for "comfort" then choose men's. Both shorts and trousers come with expandable waist bands that are very comfortable and will adjust to the extra dimension needed for IWB. Other retailers also have these handy items. like SPORTIF.COM and search for stretch pants with elastic waistband.
