    Walther P99 IWB Holster

I just purchased a Walther P99 9mm and I'm having a tough time finding a leather inside the waistband holster. I purchased a cheap Uncle Mike's IWB holster for it but I have a hard time re-holstering the gun and I don't like that it has a thumb break which slows my draw by a few seconds. I carry my HK USP Compact .40 S&W in a Galco Summer Comfort IWB leather holster which I absolutely love but it is not available for the Walther P99. The only option that i have found online is the Desantis IWB "Insider Holster". Does anyone here have a Walther P99? Or does anyone carry their weapon of choice in a Desantis "Insider Holster"?

This is the holster by Desantis:

I really like the holsters by Milt Sparks, but there is a current 22 to 30 week backlog of orders and I am not willing to wait that much while I have to uncomfortably carry my weapon around. Does anyone know where else I can get a holster similar as the Versa Max II holster by Milt Sparks?

I also found one from Don Hume for the Walther P99. What do you think?

Ross Road does not have it up on their site yet, but it is available on mine.
I know it is not in stock. The lead time is about 10 days for them to make it as it is designed.

I've got the Don Hume pictured above for my xd and I'm quite happy with it.

I have a Kramer #3 IWB horsehide for my P99C. I haven't carried outside the house yet, but it seems comfortable. I actually bought the holster used on eBay so there was no wait in my case.

I opted to purchase the Don Hume Holster in brown leather since it was recommended by several owners. Thanks for the input! Maybe I'll also place an order for the Milt Sparks and wait for it to arrive...what a beauty those holsters are!!!! WOW!!!

I had a Milt Sparks VM II for my G27 and it was comfortable, but the Summer Special II is more comfortable. It also offers the same awesome draw, retention and one hand reholstering abilities as the VM II. You can get the Milt Sparks SS II from Brownells.com without the long wait.
