What are some sources for the basic nylon 1.5" tactical belts that are reinforced for holster carry? I have seen several in pics, but can't seem to source them. I have a few that are tactical belts, but they are nylon webbing, and without the reinforced center, they are too weak to support the weight of a holster and weapon. I have seen some with velcro to keep the extra length in place so the belt doesn't flop around. NOT LOOKING FOR THE 2" DUTY BELTS!
I am sure these will be perfect for my CCW needs, and like that they are adjustable: makes it perfect in case i decide to go with a pocket carry for the day, or decide to hang the GLock 26 on the belt for a OWB carry for the day.
Pricing? Brands? Sources? Thanks for any tips!
Go with Wilderness Tactical. I looked and looked. In the end go with the original and not a copy. You won't be sorry, the prices are within a few dollars of the copy with a superior product.
Plus they're made in the US
+1000 on Wilderness Tactical.
I love my Wilderness Tactical "Instructor".
The only complaint I have with the Wilderness Tactical belts is the fact I can't find a "black" one.
I use the Uncle Mike's version

I finally listened to all the people brag on the Wilderness Instructor Belt. Had mine a few weeks now and love it.
I wear a Wilderness tactical, the fact that the velcro allows plenty of options where you can use the same belt for OWB and IWB carry

Glad that you started the thread. I was considering getting one, as my leather belt on the 4th hole is feeling a little loose and on the 5th a little tight. I think that wilderness belt would solve the problem.
Any suggestions on 3 or 5 stitch? Does the 5 stitch feel as uncomfortable as the nylon belts that have inserts? I tried a friends Galco nylon that had a plastic insert and I did not like the way it felt.
90% of the time I carry IWB off-duty.
Not hijacking, just looking for the same info, thanks again for starting the thread.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
You cannot choose the conditions for a gunfight, so train in all conditions!
Ditto on the Wilderness Belt. Its a great product. I have the 5 stitch and wear IWB and OWB with it. It is very comfortable. I wear it on most days and have worn it hiking, fishing, hunting. No complaints at all.
I've had great luck with my $25 nylon reinforced belt from Cabela's. Combined with the Supertuck, CC is so much easier.
