    I prefer them on my OWB holsters.

    Like others have previously said, I only make them that way. I did one without it a year ago, and felt the pinch. Never again.

    IWB is a must for me but with OWB i can go either way & i do carry a 1911

    I live in Texas where it is usually hot, so yes I do use a body guard on every holster (if available).
