I prefer the barrel to be completely covered if possible. But what are some of the better options as far as IWB holsters for concealing a G19? Price not being an issue.

You'll want a good barrier between your body and the gun, and a robust mounting. The Crossbreed Supertuck features both of these, having a large leather side, to keep the gun off your skin, and widely spaced mounting clips, which keep it nice and tight against your body. However, they don't completely cover the barrel, (on the Kydex side, the leather side goes plenty past the end of the barrel) which doesn't seem to matter too much,to me at least.

If you get the horsehide upgrade (which I recommend, if you're sweaty like me) it should be about 85 bucks plus shipping which will be between 5 and 10 bucks. Delivery times typically run much faster than stated on their website, too. Ugliest, most comfortable holster you'll ever wear! I love all of mine, and rarely use anything else for IWB.

i use a bladetech pds and its the cats pajamas...the kydex is nice and thin so it doesnt add much to the thickness of the gun...there is a sweat gaurd that is formed very nicely to the gun so it doesnt dig in...draw is smooth and fast....and holstering is effortless..

Hey EB31 I'm a big guy too. Bewtween 310 and 330 lbs depending how much i eat for breakfast. I love my Crossbreed supertuck. I have tried quite a few and have decided that the cbst is the best all around. Very good for us bigger guys because it is more spread out than most holsters so you get much less roll pinching. I tried a friends out that had a combat cut, and don't suggest it. with the regular one you barely feel it all day long. I sweat alot, but have found the reg leather one to be just fine. Buy with confidence and if you don't like it you can sell it on ebay for about what you paid for it anyway. There is a pretty high demand for these for a reason. I carry the g19 too!

I carry a G19 in the Crossbreed Supertuck as well. I like it. It takes a bit to break in and mold to your body. You probably want to think about the combat cut option. You can also do it yourself later. It's hard to get your thumb behind the pistol with the leather there. The only drawback is that you trade off the barrier for ease of drawing. The end of the grip gets exposed to your skin. It's worth the trade off for me though.

Love the Supertuck. Massive here at 400lbs and it couldn't be more comfortable. As mentioned they are open ended. I did have to round the back perimeter with a little 220 grit sandpaper when I got mine as the edge bit into my side when I bent over, but once I did that it just kind of disappeared to my senses. I've even carried a G22 (G17) in the one built for my G27 and it was just as comfortable.

Quality leather, quick delivery, and reasonable prices.
Easy on/off, easy one-handed re-holstering...

DeSantis Scorpion.
You didn't mention where (at what position) you've thought about carrying your G19 IWB.

Thanks for the continued advice everyone. I really do appreciate it.
Ramrod - I currently carry in a Blackhawk Serpa retention holster at 9:00. I would like to be in the same, or close, position with IWB.

So you are left handed or like a crossdraw?
