1911 Officer OWB
I recently bought http://www.fobusholster.com/products...R-2811-36.html
Wow, I don't think I'll ever buy a fobus holster again. WAY to tight, I had to loosen the screw so much, and when I draw, the holster tears up my skin. Can anyone suggest a decent OWB for my RIA 1911 Officer?
Thanks,
MW

What are you looking for? What do you want this holster's best attributes to be (ie, concealability, close-fitting, comfort, easy-on / easy-off)? There are scores of holster options out there.

I'd recommend anything made by Galco for OWB.

I have 2 "The Slide" OWB holsters for sale right handed. It is what I carry my RIA 3.5" in.
They fit my RIA 3.5" Officer gun perfectly. Take a look at my site here for details http://www.sideguardholsters.com/holsters/TheSlide.htm
Here is a rattle snake exotic with my RIA in it (nope it is not me but a model friend of mine).

I'd really like a Kydex paddle holster. I love my itac for my XD. I'd like a serpa also, but they don't make it for the officer 1911.

I cut a Serpa down with a hacksaw for my 4", will that work for a 3" gun? A RSR Defense from CDNN might also work. Neither one looks like cutting them will affect the latching mechanism .

I agree! I use a Yagui Paddle holster for my 1911's and think it is great.
