I called customer service for Bianchi, and they will not recommend holster fit for a firearm which they have not personally tested...so can anyone recommend which size in their Model 6 or 100 holsters would best fit a SW40VE?
I know one of the models for Glock is likeliest, but do any differences relative to holster fit exist between Glock models (e.g., slide width and heighth) besides just slide length?:
Model 6 Glock Models 19, 23, 26, 27, and 36 are in one size group, while Glock Models 29 and 30 are in another.
Model 100 Glock Models 17, 22, and 36 are in one group, Glock Models 19, 23, 29, and 30 are in a second, and Glock Models 26 and 27 are in a third.
I'm guessing that the sizes for the 19 and 23 are my best bets...can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks!
The 19/23 is Glock's mid-size 4" barrel 9mm/.40 caliber, so that's about the size you want for your Sigma. I can't imagine why Bianchi would list the 29/30 together with the 19/23 for their model 100 though. The 29/30 is Glock's 10mm/.45 and is much thicker through the slide than the 9mm/.40. I can't imagine any holster that fits the 45 would be snug enough to retain the 9/40.
