Which holster company?
This is a discussion on Which holster company? within the Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I am trying to decide between Alssi's CQC-S and Side Guard Holsters The Snap.
Anyone have either of these? Your opinion?
Thanks...

I have an Alessi CQC/S, and can recommend. It's the nicest OWB concealment holster I've ever seen.

IMO...Alessi CQC-S is the best owb holster, bar none.
BTW, what gun are you thinking for?

I have a side guard "The Snap" for my sig 228. Great holster. It comes very well molded and to this day the gun snaps in place like kydex when holstered. I have never had an Alessi but their quality and holsters are legendary so I doubt you could go wrong with either.

I have an Alessi CQC-S. The snaps are so tight, I have to use two hands to snap or unsnap, and even then, it is hard (yes I have used "one way" snaps before, but they were never this tight).

WoodLark, rub a tiny bit of shoe wax on the male portion of the snap. Should do the trick.

Between the 2, Alssi's CQC-S. I personally like Fist. I have the fist #12 basic for my EDC and love it.
