My Comp-Tac Minotaur has my full confidence with slight modification of removal of both belt clips and replacement with one belt loop.Minotaur.jpg.
A Comp-Tac new member of our forum responded to the OP without his asking.
Comp-Tac is an excellent company and maker of safe products. Above is not the only CT holster in my drawer. This should put the matter to bed unless you hold the original manufacturer responsible for after-market modifications. I don't and don't think that the judiciary does either.

I think trying to warn consumers of a possible dangerous flaw in a product should be welcomed to ensure that when holsteringtheir weapon they don't have an AD,also alerting the manufacturer so they can look at the issue since they could very well be looking at a lawsuit if the holster was the primary cause of an AD resulting in injury or death

I don't recall the OP stating that he/she modified the subject holster. Furthermore, the OP did not state whether the subject holster was purchased used with the knowledge of it being modified or altered in any way.

    Just saying....
From the post of Comptac: "The photo that the OP has in their original post is of a Spartan holster. This holster depicted in the OP's post has been modified since it left the factory. We do NOT send holsters out to look like that. The leather has been altered and the Kydex body has been reformed. All three modifications made outside of the factory are in the three red circles (see attached photo).WARNING fatal flaw in comp tac minotaur holster-not-factory.jpg Once a product has been modified, we obviously cannot guarantee it's safety and performance. This is an old thread, the holster was clearly modified, the OP long gone. Let's let it die a peaceful death eh?

I agree, there is something "fishy" about the original post. Poster has dissappeared, used very inflamatory language (FATAL flaw),and I tried to duplicate the problem with my Minataur and could not. Also the company responded albeit late.
    Some sort of spamming perhaps???
