New belt and holster...on the cheap!
I just picked up a 5.11 Tactical leather belt on sale for $2.99+shipping to go with my $15.00 Glock Sport Combat Holster. The belt is nice and stiff with the insert stitched in. The holster is as basic as they come. This combination is holding the G30SF nice and tight.
You don't always have to spend a ton of money to get something that functions well.
Of course, I have a nice Beltman belt and soon will have a Fist holster made just in case.

This is true to a certain extent. I'm a fan of that theory myself. Of course the theory only extends so far. To what extent always lies with the user.

The 5.11 belts are good for the $$$ the only downside I have w/ mine in IMO is that there is zero give. If I want it a little it's a whole inch there's no give like in leather if you want it a little tighter and move it to the next hole. Could be my all leather belts are wearing out and are "giving" more than they should.
For the money...they're hard to beat.

Yes it is but, unless you have a 30" waist or smaller, forget it...it's only the smalls that are on sale right now.

The stiffness provided by the insert is what I like about this belt. 11 rounds of 45acp makes a gun with a high ride holster a little shakey with a weak belt.
I have a nice Beltman belt that I now wish i'd gotten with the insert. I order one sometime in the future.
Btw, I called the Beltman when I bought the belt and he had some in stock that where returned for improper sizing (customer error) that he sold to me for half price. Give him a call...real nice guy too.

Sometimes, but you USUALLY get what you pay for...within reason...spending a lot of money does not necessarily mean top of the line either.OMOYMV
It sounds like you found a real deal.

Actually it was Bladenbullet on the Florida Concealed Carry forum that turned me on this deal. Yeah, sometimes you do get what you pay for and the Beltman belt I have is top shelf equipment. I see you're a fan of Fist and i'm looking forward to something from them but for now, the Glock holster is perfect.

Oh, well. I got when earlier, when the plus sizes were on sale.
It's OK. Not great leather, but OK.

You are right, but almost always you get what you pay for.

Where did you get the belt for $2.99? I picked one up a few months ago locally for $29.
For $2.99 I will buy one in every color
