Thumbs up "Enforcer Scabbard" holster for H&K P2000SK, from Mark Garrity

A package from Garrity's Gunleather arrived ... and what did I find? It was a new Garrity Enforcer OWB scabbard holster for my H&K P2000SK pistol. The emperor has got new clothes. Watch out.

The holster is really good looking. It's a belt slide holster, of the classic pancake/scabbard format. The stitching is beefy, tight and clean. The edges are firmly closed off and smoothed. It feels fairly firm and plenty stout enough to withstand tough use.

The color is a very rich cordovan, with deep and dark purplish-black hues. (I wish the pics could show it.) So far, it seems to hold the gun fairly tightly against the body, too, which is great. It's a great match for the P2000SK.

Kudos to Mark Garrity for the wonderful work! My hip and P2000 thanks you.

The photos below don't do it justice. Apologies, but the camera's on the fritz and going wonky with the lighting control. (Adjustments in the optimizer program won't cure it. BTDT.)

I am totally lusting after that gun. Although it would look good wrapped in a motel washcloth, it looks GREAT in that new holster.

I don't blame you. It's pretty great. I wish the magazine release were a bit easier to deal with. And it could be a bit rounder, curvier, more ergonomic, since as-is it's somewhat like the proverbial Glock "brick" feel. Otherwise, it's one of the best compacts I have held/shot.

Here are some photos from around the 'net. It's definitely not a pocket gun, but carried IWB or OWB it's fairly effective.

Not much beats a great new leather holster that fits tightly against the body. Enjoy your new leather...

Exceptional leather work. Looks absolutely great. Now you're going to need a spanky new leather gun belt.
