Just got a LCR. I'm interested in a tuckable holster that doesn't ride so low as to make getting a good fast grip difficult.

I have a right handed Tuck Clip for a LCR in stock with 15 degree cant in black that you can get a good firing grip on it no problem. Take a look at the link below and email through the site if your interested.

Where do you want to wear it on your body? Behind your hip or in front of your hip?

Sideguard looks good. Does the HN Mr. Softy ride so low that a good fast grip is an issue. I had a hidden Alley for a 709 same as the Softy but tuckable and I think the grip was right above the belt.
Alabama Holsters Offset looks interesting.

i personally use the mr softy on my G26, my belt is 1.5 inches, and the clip is 2 inches, so at times, the holster might shift a lil so i cant get my fingers under the grip enough, but then again i dont wear my belt super tight...if it was tighter it might help the shifting, but all i do is run my fingers above my belt, and it sweeps the gun grip up so i can grab it.
you might wanna look in to the remora holster, it doesnt have a clip, so essentially it has infinite riding depths...that will be my next purchase, also doubles as a pocket holster.
you would want the artemis version for a better grip
check this: http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...liever!!/page2
Pepsi i spoke with Alan at Remora and ordered a reinforced model today. The Artemis is apparently only for the Glock at this time. I will probably pick up another holster later-Sideguard, Highnoon or Crossbreed Qwik Clip.
The Mr Softy http://highnoonholsters.com/Product_..._mr_softy.html will get the job done, design intention was to be as thin and comfortable as possible, its a lite duty low ride holster , but its like wearing no holster at all and for $26.95 lots of value. The hidden Ally is the tuckable version. http://highnoonholsters.com/Product_...dden_ally.html
If you want to step up in features the Public Secret http://highnoonholsters.com/Product_...et_w_clip.html was designed for extreme duty use and features a combat grip.
The Alter Ego is the tuckable version http://highnoonholsters.com/Product_...alter_ego.html .
Hope that helps
