Galco Miami Classic or Classic II. Has a spider web type harness No other straps required. Very comfortable. Carry my Kimber 5" in it. The Classic II has horizontal mag pouches instead of vertical. No snap retainer required. Have one for my G30 as well'
Best thing? You can look like Sonny Crockett on Miami Vice.

Take a look at the Urban Safari Rig.

I run a right hand Galco Jackass shoulder rig, I use it with a 4" kimber and a double mag holster on the opposite side. You can also use it on a 5" gun, but the barrel sticks out about an inch. You can get them in brown or black and left or right hand. very easy to conceal under a sweatshirt or a polo type shirt. good luck. http:///www.usgalco.com/Marketing/Jackass.htm
I bought all my Galco stuff from Optics Planet. 3 day delivery
No, it's not and sometimes it's really worth it. And price wasn't specified and it has what he's looking for.. all good! :D

I just bought one from Ritchie Leather. No backstrap but it's very stable and excellent quality.
The backstrap keeps the rig from moving forward when you lean over. The spider web design does the same thing, no matter where you get it.

I have one of these for my M&P and it feels great. Doesn't have the back strap but it does have alot of holes to modify the balence of it and I am sure you could use them to run something acrossed the back.
I'm with Lima on Sam Andrews, but I like the Monarch. It's what I use.
