I'm looking at a Bianchi Cyclone for my 3-inch GP100. But before I pull the trigger (no pun), are the other options?
It must be:
Leather
Readily available (no custom or waiting list)
OWB

Take a look at the Simply Rugged Sourdough. I have one for my comeing for my SP101. Lots of guys love these holsters.http://www.simplyrugged.com/sourdough-pancake/ Ooops... Sorry I didnt see you did not want a custom holster. Probaly a 2-4 week wait for these. But they can be carried several ways, IWB, OWB, crossdraw. So worth the wait to me.
Glock 22 Gen 4, 27
Ruger SP101 .357mag
S&W 637 Airweight
Ruger Single Six
Ruger Blackhawk Bisley 45 Colt
Mossberg 835 Grand Slam
There are plenty of other options. FIST or Simply Rugged might meet your needs. The Bianchi Cyclone is my choice for use afield for carrying my 4" GP100. Much depends on your intended use. If you just can't abide a couple of weeks turnaround time take a look at Galco.are the other options?
Selection of a particular holster design should take into account your intended uses, your usual activities, and your typical wardrobe. What works well for range and field use may not be the best choice for discreet concealed carry.
For comfortable carry of the larger-framed revolvers the pancake-style holsters are difficult to beat, and will meet many requirements. Coupled with a sturdy belt the pancake designs offer an excellent balance of the four factors of comfort, accessibility, security, and concealability. There are many variations of this style and several possibilities for options.
Best regards.
I have one of these for my Glock-36...see the pic of the holster with the Glock.
I am also ordering one for my SP101...similar to your...
This OWB is as snug against the body as my IWB's.
You won't be sorry...very short wait of 3-4 weeks for a quality holster.
A 'no wait' holster is is probably going to be a 'fit 10 different guns' holster.OMO
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."
