Please help me get a Christmas present for my Dad (LCP holster).

My father is one of the HARDEST people in the world to shop for for Christmas. He is 62 years old, and if he sees something he wants he just buys it. He bought a Ruger LCP about 3 months ago, and started carrying it shortly after. He currently carries it in a Fobus paddle holster that he bought while out one day. He wears Hawaiian shirts (we live in Florida) so it is not a big deal for him to conceal the gun with that holster, but that gun is so small and REALLY easy to carry, that I believe the holster is over kill. It actually sticks the gun out so much that I told my dad he could carry a bigger caliber firearm just as easy. But this is his first carry gun (he has 2 Glock 23's, one for the truck and one in the house), and he is perfectly happy with it for now. And I understand, my first carry gun was a Kel-Tec P3AT and now I carry a Smith and WEsson M&P everyday.

So I thought a good Christmas present would be a better holster for his Ruger LCP. I tried to talk him into Crossbreed, but he HATES the feeling of an IWB holster, and asked if there were any OWB holsters that would work. And the pocket carry is out too, I tried that and he wants to be able to get to the gun quicker. And that is my question for you. Can you name for me some good OWB holsters for the Ruger LCP? Unfortunately at this time I can not spend $60-$80 on a Galco holster, I'm still in school, getting ready for law school. They can be leather, kydex made of anything. I'll take all the info and recommendations I can get!

    Thanks a lot

Check out the Fist Holster website and look around. I'm sure you will find something there your dad will like.

Don Hume J.I.T. slide. I use one of these for most of my carry guns. I love it. Small, light, and inexpensive.

You are not paranoid if They are actually out to get you, however, They probably are not and you probably are.

    This may help--
Check out the Galco Stinger on our website priced at $43.00. This holster will only fit the LCP without CTC laser.

If you go kydex, rethink Fist. I am speaking from very recent experience. Their kydex holsters are outrageously priced for what you get anyway.
