I use the Blackhawk! SERPA Lvl II holster. Get the one that has belt loops (adjustable) and put it at your 1000-1130. I wear it all the time with a full-size 1911 and it works great. I find that I can slide it around as I need it hidden or quickly accessed. The retention is great, and the price is a LOT cheaper than leather or custom kydex.
Oh, and the cant is adjustable as well. I have mine about half-way between neutral (straight) drop and the "full" 15 degrees. Works perfectly.
