I'm looking for a comfortable holster to carry my p229, it could be either outside or iwb, or leather or kydex. As long as the holster is easy on easy off, I don't really want to spend half the day dealing with straps, loops, buckles, velcro, and ties just to carry, I just want to slap it on and go, any suggestions?

Something like a Milt Sparks Summer Special (IWB) is as simple as it gets - two 1-way snaps anchor it to the belt.
For OWB, a good paddle holster is hard to beat for ease of "installation" and removal. Emphasis is on the word "good" - the paddle has to secure the holster against inadvertent removal during the draw. I've used a DeSantis Viper for my Sig 220 for close to a decade now. I'm not crazy about the thumb break, but it's correctly located and easy to get used to. Best of all, that paddle stays where it's supposed to.

That's the advantage of a good holster and gun belt - they minimize the effect of carrying two pounds on your hip.
Take a look at Stoner Holsters. I use one IWB, carried (gasp) SOB. I believe the model is 30-1. Happy hunting.

I have a Kramer MSP for my P228. It is a leather paddle with an optional strap to secure it to your belt.
For me it doesn't get any more comfortable than a Milt Sparks Versamax for my P229. Only two loops to wrap around your belt and one way snap. If you are looking for somethign REALLY easy on/easy off and can stand the bulk then look at paddle holsters.

I carry my P220 in one occasionally, very fast on/off, and the most comfortable IWB I've ever tried.
Take a look at UBG holsters. I have the regulator for my G32 and plan on on for my P220. The regulator is a great OWB holster.
