This is the one I use, it works great for me. I got a medium one for my G19.

I have the same one as Spencer and I got it on EBAY brand new for $19 plus $4 shipping. It will hold my G19, G23, or my M&P... Tethers around the seat mounts and tucks under the seat for discretionary hiding.

i also have the one spencer posted. it works will for what it is. it will stop your gun from being stolen from a quick smash and grab. a thief with time and some cutters will get through the cable.

I got the GunVault Biometric microvault for Christmas. I put it in the center console and wrapped the cable around my seat bracket, its not going anywhere and i feel comfortable leaving my gun in the truck now.

I want to get another cable and see what it actually takes to cut throught it.

These boxes are made of 21 gauge steel sheet, I work in the metals industry and this gauge seems awfully thin @ .032", do these boxes seem sturdy enough?

    - I bought one of them for each car that I own. It's not going to stop someone that steals your car, but it will deter the average smash and grab thief. I only leave my gun in the car when I am required by law (post office, etc.).

Tuffy security products have a few under seat lockable storage options (as well as console but those are $$$), as well as Bestop. I just put one in the wife's Jeep for Xmas. 16ga steel, bolts under the seat mounts. $89.

https://www.tuffyproducts.com/default.aspx good search options for vehilce make and model, or category (drawer, console, etc...)

http://bestop.com/index.php?s=87 Specifically made for a jeep, but if your seat mounting holes are within the flanges, it will work regardless of make. Customer service is good, and should be able to provide you with mounting holes distance on center.

I have the same type as SpencerB also. I got mine from Cabella's. It's OK, but someone with some tools and a little time could cut the cable. Also I did not like the fact that the cable goes ouot a slot on the top side of the case and has to lay over the foam (could scratch the gun). I took a dremel and cut a matching slot in the lower half of the case and layed the cable under the foam. It works for me.

I havn't checked yet to see if my Glock fits in the case, I should do that before I have to use it when carrying the Glock.

An army surplus ammo can bolted to the floor with a pad lock.
