I was bored recently and decided to look around for new gunleather. I came across El Paso Saddlery. I've never examined western-style shoulder holsters before but they had some that looks pretty nice.
Question is - are western-style shoulde holsters any good for concealment? Or are they just made to play with?

Why so SERIOUS?
I own an El Paso Western Shoulder Holster. I used to carry a Ruger Vaquero in it when I backpacked or went hunting ( I have switched to a military Tanker Style holster for my 1911). It was comfortable and secure, but concealable? Not really! I suppose it depends on what you wear, but I wouldn't consider it a very concealable holster. If you want a concealable shoulder holster, you'd be better off looking at a Galco Miami Classic or one of the other well know brands.
